Holocaust survivor tells

Woman wrote children’s book, to speak at schools

When Holocaust survivor Marion Blumenthal Lazan was 11 years old, she had already endured six years of starvation, cold, disease and other horrors of being Jewish in Nazi Germany.

Lazan’s book is told from the perspective of a child and details how her family was ready to sail to America to escape the clutches of the Nazis but instead ended up in a concentration camp.
